Outpatient services are provided two days a week, offering regular care to enrolled patients as well as other members of the local community. The Society believes that in communities where people struggle daily for survival, integrating primary health care alongside palliative care is essential.
In line with this approach, a monthly eye and dermatology outpatient clinic has recently been introduced as a new service addition.
Community Eye Care
As an extension of primary health care, community-based eye care services were introduced on a limited basis in 2017. From July 2024, the service has been strengthened and is now provided once a month to both project patients and other members of the Korail community.
In addition to eye surgeries and support with corrective glasses, the program also emphasizes rehabilitation. As part of this effort, a visually impaired child has begun attending a Braille school in Mirpur, Dhaka, enabling access to inclusive education. The child is currently supported under the ‘Sawpno’ Program.
Community Skin Care
As an extension of Primary Health Care Services, this service was launched in July 2025 and is provided once a month. Both project beneficiaries and other members of the Korail community receive this service. Along with
